Canon PowerShot S95 Why I Love It
The Canon Powershot S95 is the latest offering from the king of camera manufacturers Canon.
The S95 is a huge success for the man in the street who wants a small, compact point and shoot camera.
Measuring only 3.9 x 2.1 x0.9 inches the S95 is perfect for keeping in your pocket for those occasional photo opportunities.
Don’t be fooled by its size though, the Powershot S95 packs a punch above its weight with a 10 megapixel sensor and 3.8 optical zoom so although it has the convenience of a compact it can still get you close to the action.
The Canon f2 lens, which is wider than some professional grade digital cameras means that it has a very shallow depth of field. In laymans terms this means that you get incredibly detailed close up shots whilst leaving the background out of focus.
The wide angle lens also means that you can get more into your picture and shoot in even very low light settings.
In addition to its great f2 lens which will capture beautifully detailed images it can also shoot high definition video at 720p at 60 frames per second.
